Domaine familial depuis plusieurs générations. Environ 17 hectares de vignes.

Domaine du Colombier has been located in the Northern Rhône Valley since 1991.

It covers 20 hectares in the Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage appellations.

Florent and David Viale cultivate Syrah for their red wines and Marsanne and Roussanne for their white wines.

In 1994, Stéphane ROBERT created the Domaine du Tunnel. He started with 2.5 hectares of vines on the right bank of the Rhône, in Ardèche, in the appellations Cornas, Saint-Péray, and Saint-Joseph. The winery is located in the center of Saint-Péray.
In 2013, the estate expanded its range with an additional AOC : Condrieu. In 2014, Stéphane rehabilitated a tunnel in Saint-Péray at the place called "Barras" to establish a winemaking and aging cellar. At the beginning of the 20th century, this 170-meter-long stone tunnel was crossed by a steam train connecting Valence to Vernoux in Vivarais. The cellar overlooks the Rhône Valley with a stunning view of the Château de Crussol.
To date, the vineyard covers 12 hectares, located in the municipalities of Saint-Péray, Cornas, Glun, Mauves, Tournon sur Rhône, and Chavanay. The cuvées are primarily vinified from old vines on slopes or terraces, on granitic soils. The grape varieties include Syrah (Cornas and Saint-Joseph), Marsanne and Roussanne (Saint-Péray), and Viognier (Condrieu). Vineyard work and grape harvesting by hand.
Stéphane ages his wines with passion. He mainly uses barrels that have been used for 1 to 3 wines for his Cornas and Saint-Joseph. Depending on the cuvées and vintages, he may use new barrels or wooden tanks. This diversity of barrels allows him to carry out tailored and precise aging.
All production is marketed in bottles. The wines from the estate are represented on the finest tables in France and around the world. The estate exports 25% of its production (to England, the USA, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Denmark, the Netherlands…).
