The origins of Antigal Winery & Estates date back to the earliest days of winemaking in Mendoza. Founded in 1897, our winery is located in a restored historic estate in Maipú, at the foothills of the Andes Mountains.

The name Antigal refers to that which comes from times past. With our vineyards in the Uco Valley, we seek to revive the best of those origins, combining the richness of our terroir with a contemporary, precise approach—true to the New World style.

In 2023, Antigal was named New World Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast, a recognition that reflects the excellence of our wines and the continuous work of a team committed to quality and innovation.

We practice interpretative viticulture, where science and deep observation allow us to reveal the natural character of each plot, creating wines with a true sense of identity and a transparent expression of their origin.

Sustainability

Our vision is based on sustainable viticulture with a holistic approach. We believe in the importance of protecting our planet for future generations, so our practices span from the vineyard to the winery, with a focus that embraces environmental, social, and economic responsibility.

We are certified in Sustainability by Bodegas de Argentina, and one of our vineyards holds organic certification granted by LETIS. All our wines are vegan-friendly (certified by VEG Argentina) and we meet the highest food safety standards through FSSC 22000. We also hold Fair Trade certification, recognizing our commitment to fair commerce, social equity, and ethical working conditions throughout our entire value chain. Finally, we are SMETA certified, validating our human development programs and good labor practices.
