Producing Merlot is a Shafer tradition going back more than 40 years, when we established our first Merlot vines in 1981. Sourced from neighboring Napa Valley vineyards, this wine is known for its bright, bold elegance.
In this vintage the blend is 90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Malbec.
