First viticultural region in France in area (245 000 hectares) and in volume (12.9 million hectoliters), the vineyards of Occitanie represent one-third of total French production and 5.7% of world production. Occitanie region covers Pays d’Oc, Roussillon and Languedoc vineyards as well as the right bank of the southern part of Rhône Valley and South-West vineyards.
We are located in Montagnac, halfway between Béziers and Montpellier.
This is a family estate that has been home to nine generations of winegrowers for 200 years.
Today, we have been cultivating 24 hectares of vineyards organically since 2010.
With a beautiful diversity of 12 grape varieties, we produce wines from different appellations that are emblematic of our region:
AOP Picpoul de Pinet
AOP Grès de Montpellier
AOP Languedoc
IGP Pays d'Oc (bottles and bag in box)
As the first wine estate to receive France’s National Agroecology Innovation Award, we embody a new generation of regenerative, farmer-led viticulture rooted in the Corbières. Among our vineyards, our olive and pistachio orchards, and the grazing of our sheep, every element of the landscape contributes to crafting wines shaped by biodiversity, the balance of living ecosystems, and a deep respect for our land.
La Folie Vigneronne is a small independent estate producing high-quality wines on AOP Faugères and IGP Côtes de Thongue, on 8,5 hectares of vines, converting to organic agriculture since 2023.
Anne-Sophie RAIFAUD, our winemaker, is preparing 7 wines (1 Rosé, 2 Whites et 4 Reds) focusing on revealing Faugères schists terroir and grape variety specificities, limiting additional products in the process. Our wines were recognised by La Revue des Vins de France, Guide Hachette, Decanter, Jancis Robinson & Jeb Dunnuck.
Our production (about 25 000 bottles a year) is mostly sold on french market to wineshops, restaurants and directly to individual consumers. We are looking to expand beyond France, mostly in Europe.
Located in Occitanie, at the foot of the World Heritage site of Oppidum d'Ensérune, bordered by the Canal du Midi.
In 2023, after graduating and training between Bordeaux and Saumur, Alexandre MANTION took over the family farm and settled on 3 hectares of vines, which were vinified for the first time on the estate.
The aim: to offer fresh wines without excessive alcohol content, on this sun-drenched land!
The grapes, which come from the Coteaux d'Ensérune IGP appellation, are grown using sustainable methods, vinification is carried out according to protocols and products certified organic, and sulfites are used with caution in accordance with biodynamic thresholds.
Most of the range offers single-varietal wines.
We are a couple of new winegrowers who have been working on family vineyard for 4 generations. We cultivate 30 ha of vines with HVE environmental certification, and vinify the production of the vines located in Montpeyroux, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac in our new winery (inaugurated in 2023) in Lagamas. Drawing on the knowledge of Nathalie (agricultural engineer and oenologist) and the skills of Pierre (many years of work in the vineyard and cellar), we produce elegant and delicate wines like the AOP Terrasses du Larzac.
