A23 is a new winebrand owned and produced by SpaceNine Aps. We are a family-owned wine company based in Copenhagen. Our name carries our DNA: A stands for amphora – one of wine’s oldest vessels – and 23 marks the year 2023, when we released our first wine.

Our wines are crafted by Thomas, our winemaker, who has worked with wine for nearly 40 years. He travels directly to the producers, works hands-on in the cellar, and blends the wines at their place of origin. The result is wines with respect for craftsmanship and a clear ambition:

single-varietal, character-driven wines with a distinct flavor profile from classic appellations.

We are proud to have received three medals at IWC 2026:

Silver – A23 Riesling Trocken

Bronze – A23 Pinot Noir

Bronze – A23 Syrah

The visual identity is created by Gunhild. She designs our labels with a strong focus on minimalism, elegance, and recognizability. Through deliberate choices of color and animal motifs, each label reflects the character of the wine inside — simply and without noise. The expression of the bottle is meant to be as clear as the wine itself.
