Marchi represents an authentic expression of Valpolicella, shaped by three generations of family winegrowers and a deep respect for time, vines, and people. The agricultural estate was founded in 1945 by Gino Marchi and later developed by his son Franco, who structured the property into 25 hectares of vineyards.
All vineyards are located in high hillside areas above 400 meters above sea level and are planted exclusively with native Veronese grape varieties. This unique altitude and setting contribute to freshness, elegance, and a strong territorial identity.
For decades, the family focused entirely on viticulture, guided by a belief passed down by Gino himself: “It is the vines that make the wine.” Great wines, for Marchi, are born first in the vineyard, through patience, careful observation, and balanced vines allowed to reach full maturity.
Over the past 15 years, Franco’s sons — Diego, Davide, and Luca — have transformed the agricultural estate into a winery, fulfilling their grandfather Gino’s long-held dream of producing wines that fully express their land.
Time remains the guiding element of the winery. Time in the vineyard shapes the grapes. Time in the cellar refines identity. Time dedicated to people builds experience and lasting relationships. This philosophy is symbolized by the hourglass forming the letter “M” of Marchi, a constant reminder that quality cannot be rushed.
Marchi wines are elegant, expressive, and deeply rooted in Valpolicella. Each bottle is an invitation to slow down and enjoy what truly matters: DiVine Time, time devoted to the pleasure of living.
