In 2016, Bertrand Ravache gave his name to the trading house Malet Roquefort which he had acquired the majority five years earlier. After having made « Léo de la Gaffelière » a reference, he gave a new impetus to the house Bertrand Ravache by signing his own wines. Demanding and bold, this talented entrepreneur advances without limiting his self to the existing. Each step of his life has been the result of discoveries with people, terroirs, desires, expectations. Breton by origin, his history and his career allow him to bring a diffeent look on Bordeaux wines. His ambition : "to rediscover the wines of Bordeaux, by combining audacity and excellence".
Passionate about Bordeaux wines since 1949, the Fleury family has built a strong reputation as a player exclusively committed to quality. Jean, President of Fleury Wines, ensured the continuity of the family business founded by his father, Jean-Claude Fleury, until the company was acquired by the Bertrand Ravache Group in 2024.
“Beyond the world of great crus, the Bordeaux terroir never ceases to surprise me with its exceptional ability to produce outstanding wines from more modest origins.
Identifying these great wines, which offer a remarkable counterpoint to the most prestigious Châteaux, is no easy task.
Making them known, and then recognised, is even more challenging. Yet this is the challenge I have chosen to take on.
I have a passion for these great, too-often overlooked wines, born from the meeting of exceptional people and exceptional lands.”
