Co-exhibitor of RHONE VALLEY VINEYARDS
Founded in 1996, the estate is the result of a shared vision between three emblematic winemakers of the Northern Rhône: Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard. United by their passion for great terroirs and their deep roots on the Rhône’s Right Bank, they embarked on an ambitious project: the revival of the ancient vineyard of Seyssuel, a historic site once renowned in Roman times and long forgotten.
From the very beginning, the philosophy of the estate has been driven by respect for the land, precision in viticulture and the desire to reveal the purest expression of each terroir. What started as a pioneering adventure has steadily grown into a reference from the Northern Rhône.
Today, the estate spans 40 hectares across some of the region’s most prestigious appellations. 12 hectares are located on the steep slopes of Seyssuel, at the northern gateway of the Rhône Valley. Planted with Syrah and Viognier, these vineyards produce three distinctive IGP Collines Rhodaniennes wines: Sotanum (red), Taburnum (white) and Heluicum (red), each reflecting the unique character and heritage of this exceptional hillside.
On the opposite bank of the Rhône, 28 hectares are spread across renowned appellations including Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray, Cornas and Crozes-Hermitage. These parcels benefit from diverse soils and exposures, allowing the estate to craft a wide range of wines that express the richness and complexity of the Northern Rhône.
Since 1998, the company has also developed a high-quality négociant activity. Grapes are sourced from carefully selected parcels throughout the Northern and Southern Rhône, from the iconic slopes of Côte-Rôtie to the vineyards of Saint-Péray. Each plot is closely monitored by the winemaking team, ensuring strict quality standards from vineyard to cellar.
