Domaine Les Béates is located in the Provençal village of Lambesc, in the heart of the « Appellation d’Origine Protégée Coteaux-d’Aix-en-Provence ».

Pionneer of organic farming in the region since the 80’s, the domaine is owned by the Terrat Familly since 1996 with a true will of producing outstanding wines in the respect for the living and the environnement. Old vines, low yield, traditional vinification and long ageing were the key to be able to capture the great concentration this terroir could give.

Beeing certified in organic farming means no use of herbicide or chemical mineral fertilier. Working the soil gently and using organic compost allows the vines to devellop their roots deep in the soil to resist the water stress in summer, it also helps to express the terroir and confer minerality and complexity to the wines.At the crossroad of Luberon, Alpilles and Montagne Sainte-Victoire, the estate streches its 40 hectares on a great diversity of soils.
