Keush Family Wines is a family-run winery and incubator that produces five distinct wine brands: Keush, Zulal Wines, Oshin Wines, Molana Wines, and Hekiat Wines.
Introducing KEUSH, a sparkling wine that embodies resilience and craftsmanship. Nestled in the high-elevation vineyards of Khachik village, our century-old grapes thrive in volcanic and limestone soils. This region stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who cultivate the land. Situated in geopolitically unstable zones, our vineyards go beyond winemaking—they safeguard our borders. The grapes from this unique terroir undergo the méthode traditionnelle, resulting in a sparkling wine that mirrors the dedication and strength of the people and land from which it originates.
Meaning "pure" in Armenian, Zulal was founded to push the boundaries of viticultural exploration in Armenia. Through meticulous vineyard selection, we work with the noble Areni and Voskehat grapes that grow in the high-elevation, volcanic soils of Vayots Dzor. On our journey to rediscover rare or almost forgotten indigenous grape varieties, we take pride in having revived seven grape varieties, each with its own unique story to tell.
Enter the world of Oshin Wines, a heartfelt tribute to the medieval Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia and its visionary ruler, King Oshin. Inspired by his quest for peace and prosperity, Oshin Wines embodies the enduring spirit of the Armenian people. Our winemaking artistry revolves around the Areni and Voskehat grapes, known for their thick skins that have stood resilient against Vayots Dzor's extremes for millennia. Each sip reflects the harmony of tradition and the enduring strength of the land—Oshin, where the legacy of a kingdom lives in every bottle.
The Molana project is a journey of discovery into the mysterious and undiscovered world of Iranian viticulture and its enological potential. No wine has been made in the past four decades, and no modern-style wine was made previously. Yet, Iran has a millennia-long history of viticulture. Today, Iranian Kurdistan’s Sardasht County is a significant hub of red wine grape production, where Rasheh grapes are harvested from 6,500 hectares of vineyards. It shares, with its immediate neighbor Armenia, the privilege of being one of the birthplaces of viticulture.
