Wine Formula LLC was established in 2018 by a group of young enthusiasts passionate about Armenia’s winemaking and viticulture. Guided by a philosophy of wildlife preservation and social responsibility, we created our first wine brand - HOVAZ, meaning “leopard” in Armenian.

  The name symbolizes the Caucasian leopard, a once-endangered species that recently reappeared in the Khosrov Forest State Reserve after many years of absence - a story that reflects the revival of Armenian winemaking itself.

  In November 2022, we opened Hovaz Wine Rooms in the picturesque mountain town of Dilijan. This cozy wine-tasting space offers visitors a complete wine experience - from discovering Armenia’s indigenous grape varieties to participating in the final steps of sparkling wine production (traditional method). Through guided tastings and immersive activities, guests explore the diversity, history, and modern identity of Armenian wines in an authentic and interactive way.
