Co-exhibitor of Wines of Alentejo (CVRA)
Herdade das Servas is family enterprise with a remarkable winemaking tradition of 13 generations rooted in the Alentejo region.
Its winemaking legacy dates back to 1667, and this date can be found in two ceramic amphorae that have been passed down from generation to generation, which have an eight-pointed star drawn, a symbol of boaventura, regeneration, abundance and protection of the crops, but also of truth and hope – core values for the Serrano Mira heritage.
It currently has about 350 hectares, divided into eight vineyards that are distinct from each other, but which complement each other in their identity, located in Estremoz and Borba and installed at an average altitude of 300 meters, between Serra d'Ossa and Serra de São Mamede, where regenerative agricultural practices are applied.
With a high commitment to the production of quality and sustainable wines, made exclusively from its own vineyards, Herdade das Servas is officially certified in ISO9001:2015, ISO22000:2023, Alentejo Wine Sustainability Program (PSVA) and currently in Organic Production Mode - Conversion.
Whites, Rosés and Reds currently arrive on the market with the brands Monte das Servas and Herdade das Servas.
Wine tourism has always been a fundamental part of this project, with a way to receive those who want to know the process of creating our wines. There are several tastings available, complemented with snacks or more demanding wine pairings, at the table of the Legacy Winery Restaurant, that presents a contemporary cuisine, but inspired by the traditions of Alentejo gastronomy: with soul, originality and full of flavor.
