Fonte Del Vino was founded in 2016, in collaboration with small to medium sized award winning, family run wineries many of whom are owned by ex Italian nobility including the current Baron of Valforte.
At this edition of Wine Paris, we will be presenting the following wineries.
Corte Adami
Known for their modern and dynamic takes on Amarone, Soave and Valpolicella, the winery is managed by two sisters, Giulia and Martina and their brother Andrea. They are the 5th generation of the Adami family and they have Tenute's in Soave as well as Valpolicella. The wines have been consistently awarded over 90 points by various international critics including Merum, James Suckling and Robert Parker.
Cantine Pedres
Located close to Olbia on the island of Sardegna, the winery is owned and managed by Antonella and her husband, Claudio. This multi generational winery is highly regarded by various critics and wine lovers alike, for their various takes on both the Vermentino and Cannonau grape. The winery has various Tenute in the north of the island and their limited production Cagnulari is the talk of many top end restaurant wine lists.
F.lli Casetta
Their history dates back to the 1700's with current owner, Ernesto Casetta renown for travelling throughout Italy in his youth, studying viticulture. Through the years, Ernesto has expanded the families fortunes by buying up small Tenute in Provincia di Asti, Cuneo and Alessandria, bringing back grapes which were on the verge of extinction. The winery has a back library of Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera dating back from 1985. Winner of numerous gold medals, Casetta Barolo's and Barbaresco's are some of the finest on the market.
Tenute Rade
Located in Provincia di Asti, Tenute Rade is our youngest winery founded in 1988 and is owned and managed by Daniele and Raimondo Cusmano. The winery claim to fame is their highly rated, award winning Alta Langa and Alta Langa Riserva which is aged for up to 60 months. The winery have 50 hectars and makes Nizza DOCG, Moscato d'Asti DOCG, Barbera DOCG as well as Timorasso. Their Nizza Barbera d'Asti DOCG is renown for its elegance and is one of Italy's newest DOCG's.
Fonte Del Vino manages the export marketing and sales for the wineries including restructuring the wineries brands/image preparing them for specific target markets including in Asia and the USA. Some of these award winning wineries Vendrame - Vignis Del Doge which was once the summer palace of the last Doge of the Venetian Republic, and Aldo Marenco. We have long term collaborations with other high end wineries including Jacopo Biondi Santi as well as Il Paradiso di Frassina, one of Italy's premium organic Brunello producers.
Many of our wineries are either Organic Certified or follow organic and sustainable farming methods. Some are also certified Vegan OK. Many of the wineries also exchange technical know how between one and another. Fonte Del Vino consolidates orders for exportation, in Piemont or Veneto and issues a single export document.
