Elderton Wines has been proudly owned and operated by the Ashmead family for 43 vintages. Our home is in Nuriootpa, in South Australia’s picturesque Barossa Valley. With a philosophy of winemaking that has stayed with us throughout the years, our vision is to create excellence from four distinguished vineyard sites across the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Varieties produced include shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, GSM, chardonnay and riesling. Our flagship wines, the Command Shiraz and Ashmead Cabernet Sauvignon are renowned single vineyard wines, sourced from vineyards that date back to 1894 and 1944 respectively.

Small Victories Wine Co was launched by the Ashmead family in 2021. Produced in the Elderton winery, with wines made by Jules Ashmead, Small Victories wines are lighter, brighter and modern in style. Varieties produced include grenache, shiraz, sangiovese, vermentino, rosé (grenache mataro) and pinot gris.
