France
In search of his first vineyard, which will lead him to the parched lands of Algeria, Marcel Ott, a young agronomist from Alsace, is convinced by his wife Elisabeth to settle in Provence. The region is of breathtaking beauty, the Mediterranean Sea is just a stone’s throw away. We are in 1896... From Marcel to Jean-François Ott, four generations have succeeded each other at the head of the estates, embodying a singular vision of the vine and wine. The Ott family pursues the founder’s unchanging ambition: to produce great rosé, white and red wines, with absolute respect for the soil and the vine.
Since 2004, the Domaines Ott* have been a member of the Roederer Collection Group, alongside illustrious independent houses. United by the same values and a commitment to long-term success, they share a common vision: that sustainable growth is achieved while respecting the know-how, our environment and the time required to build an ever higher quality over the years. Gentle and virtuous viticulture and vinification in organic farming have never ceased to be applied. In a philosophy of craftsmanship and tailor-made, biodynamic practices are also integrated, far exceeding the requirements of the current specifications.
