After twenty years in Boston’s tech-startup scene, Pierre Villeneuve, originally from Canada, and his wife Amy acquired Domaine Travelle in 2021. Nestled at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain in Puyloubier around a former 19th-century silk mill and rooted in exceptional terroir, the estate includes 24 hectares of vines in AOP Côtes-de-Provence. Now in its final year of organic conversion, Domaine Travelle has adopted sustainable agricultural practices that enhance soil health and biodiversity. A new semi-underground ultra-modern cellar and winemaking facility with a living roof were built in 2023. The two reds produced at the winery received scores of 92 points by James Suckling in 2025 and the rosé received a star in the Guide Hachette 2026. These wines will be presented at Wine Paris in addition to the domain’s first white wine and a preview of the upcoming red Cru Sainte-Victoire.
