The Madrague vineyard is located in the Golfe de St Tropez, on the Conservatoire du littoral and Port Cros National Park protected sites, and has 30 ha. A true patchwork of terroirs ! 3 amazing sites : from the Gigaro beach in La Croix Valmer, crossing the historic village of Gassin, to the eastern side of the Grimaud castle. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate (more than 300 days of sunshine), the Madrague vineyard has been cultivated in organic conditions since 2007 and has extended this environmental quality guarantee by developing agro-forestry; Since 2020, this bio-diversity has been boosted and supported by beekeeping: 200 beehives have been introduced to help keep pollination natural and sexual confusion has become the practice in the vines. The Domaine is also engaged, on his own level, to respect the Climate Plan: the control of the carbon impact in the vineyard is already a first step in the analysis of the environmental performance.... The 2022 harvest, totally manual, optimises the specific quality of each grape variety; plot-by-plot vinification permits the character of each cuvée to be clearly defined and has given Domaine de la Madrague the opportunity to collect awards in various national and international wine tastings.
