The beginnings date back to the second half of the

19th century, when Cossetti, a historic family from

Castelnuovo Belbo, acquired the first Barbera vineyards

and started the grape production.

In 1891, Giovanni Cossetti began the activity that would

have been soon successful, transforming the family farm

into a winemaking cellar.

It will be Clemente, son of the founder, who will make

his wines known in Italy, already from the 20s of the last

century. The sons Giovanni and Mario, starting from

the 50s and for the following decades, will consolidate

the activity from the vineyards to the cellar,

up to the marketing that expanded to foreign markets

starting from the 90s.

Today it is the fourth generation of Cossetti family

(the sisters Clementina and Giulia) to continue this story,

made up of the right balance between tradition

and innovation.

A story made of love for signature wine and for its most

qualified territories of origin, always careful

to the evolution of the market.

Together with them, a close-knit and united team grows

and successfully brings Cossetti wines around the world.
