The Consortium is a private organization which represents wineries, vine-growers, bottlers and cooperatives.
The essential goal of the Soave Consortium is the promotion and protection of the Soave Denomination, in abidance with the DOC and DOCG production regulations, and in the interest of all associates.
The Consortium also manages the province’s fledging Consortiums and Wine roads: Lessini Durello, Merlara and Arcole. Given its territorial reach, Soave is uniquely positioned to promote not only within the wine sector, but also to involve consumers through broader touristic promotions and events.
We are a winery located in the Soave Classico area, in a town called Monteforte d'Alpone, known for being one of the oldest wine regions in Italy. We create wines that we love to drink, full of character and individuality, we select and handpick the best grapes, as well as prioritize a low-environmental-impact in our vineyard management.
To date, the company owns 12 hectares of volcanic soil vineyards, all of them in the hills (between 90mt and 290mt) in various plots, mostly exposed to the south-east. We focus on Garganega, Trebbiano Veronese and Manzoni Bianco, grown within the classic Soave area, as well as a selection of red grape varieties for the production of Cabernet sauvignon and Valpolicella. The vineyards have an age ranging from 20 to 45 years, enjoy an excellent sun exposure and constant ventilation, in order to allow to obtain healthy grapes and wines with an elegant structure. The soils of volcanic origin, being enriched by fossils, clay, rocky structures and tuff, are very fertile and low in acids, giving an unmistakable minerality that completes the fruity and floral scents, giving us the fullness of taste with every sip. We have a low impact approach to vineyard management with the aim of producing quality wines for years to come but not at the expense of the land.
Few words are needed to communicate something unique. A few quick strokes to capture its vital nature. These simple considerations guided our attempt to convey, through words and images, the natural uniqueness of Lessini Durello DOC sparkling wine, thirty years after the birth of the Denomination of Origin.
A young and alternative sparkling wine: tantalizing, dynamic, never predictable, with a volcanic character that makes it unique in the world. This is Lessini Durello DOC, a wine that always makes a difference: authentic by nature and similar only to itself.
Understanding the natural originality of this sparkling wine means discovering a native grape variety with very special characteristics, a territory that embodies the ancient energy of creation, and a production mentality in which innovation is not opposed to tradition: it is its energy.
The high valleys of the Lessini Mountains, between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza in Veneto, have always been an ideal environment for vines and a natural treasure trove where viticulture can achieve the most brilliant results. The sharp silhouette of the reliefs immediately reveals their volcanic origins: a profound nature that constitutes the fundamental character of the Lessini Mountains and leaves a unique imprint on the wine.
Corte Mainente is located near the Scaliger Castle of Soave. In just over 12 hectares, the winery produces particularly interesting white wines with a distinct personality and organic certificated. Come and taste and discover our products.
Corte Moschina was a family long before being a winery. Silvano and Patrizia, Alessandro and Giacomo: these are the volcanic and genuine personalities that have chosen to uphold and restorethe generational pact that binds man to the earth, with patience and awareness.
In 1998, after decades of neglect, the Danese-Niero family took the property in hand and restored it to its original splendor. Soils of volcanic origin, geologically unique in this territory, once again host Garganega and Durella vines. Corte Moschina is the center of our life’s project, a place to appreciate sharing and the responsibility of being part of something larger than ourselves.
Corte Moschina follows the principles of integrated family management and complete control of the supply chain, believing that good wine comes from constant attention in the vineyard and respect for the land.
Corte Moschina was founded in Roncà, near Soave, but it soon expanded beyond the original five hectares surrounding the estate to the current 35, distributed in four different areas between Verona and Vicenza.
These special parcelswere carefully chosen and artfully cultivated, not for the sake of land ownership but to give life to sincere, authentic wines with an unmistakable personality.
Since 1934, when patriarch Augusto Dal Cero purchased land in the Veronese commune of Ronca, in the north east of Italy, three generations of the family have devoted themselves to the vines. With meticulous care and tremendous passion, the latest generation - Francesca, Davide and Nico - labor to ensure balanced soils, healthy grapes and, of course, quality wines: from crisp, light-bodied Pinot Grigio and Soave whites to dark Amarones with ripe, round tannins.
Franchetto is a family-run winery rooted in the vineyards of Val d’Alpone in the Verona hills, where tradition and respect for the land guide every step of the winemaking process. Our wines reflect a deep connection between nature and craftsmanship, telling the story of artisanal dedication and passion passed down through generations.
We specialize in authentic expressions of native and classic Verona varietals, including elegant Garganega for Soave wines, vibrant Pinot Grigio, refined Durella for our spumante metodo classico wines.
Guided by a commitment to sustainability and quality — from hand-harvested fruit to mindful viticulture — our wines capture the unique character of our volcanic soils and local microclimates.
Ours is one of those stories in which wine and family are a successful match.
For four generations we have been farming the land with the same passion and determination with which Francesco Vicentini, father of Agostino, bought the vineyards in Colognola ai Colli in 1929, moving from Campiano towards the valley. At that time the generosity of the land allowed us to cultivate vineyards as well as cherry, olive and apricot trees. Cantina Agostino Vicentini has always vinified all the grapes harvested from its vineyards for its own purposes. At the end of the 1960s, the great turning point came when Agostino decided to put his vineyard and cellar experiences to good use so as to offer labels that have become iconic.
Step by step the cellar grows and consolidates, the production of Valpolicella and Soave wines begin to unfold a clear wine style. With the partnership of Teresa Bacco, Agostino’s wife, the venture takes a leap: the vineyard and the cellar are the places where we want to high point the best quality results. Emanuele and Francesca, the fourth generation of the Vicentini family, are providing a fresh approach to farming and winemaking as well as new thinking and innovation, to continue to promote the wines of Agostino Vicentini in the world.
