Château Mourgues du Grès is an organic family estate in the Southern Rhône which crafts juicy, elegant wines that show a distinctive freshness. (The vineyard is certified biodynamic) This comes from the specificity of our terroir in Costières de Nîmes, where the vines benefit from the generous sun of Southern France and also the cooling influence of the Mediterranean Sea. Our white wines show a bright minerality backed up by a fresh finish, our rosé is crisp and juicy. Red wines are balanced, layered and vibrant. The use of sulfites is minimal, for a better mineral expression while keeping clear, profuse bouquets. Winemaker François Collard is considered a pioneer in our area who revealed the potential of our terroirs and brought the wines in front of the press and in the best restaurants.
