Co-exhibitor of VIGNOCAVES
1610: This is the date on the Barde family tree in the commune of Saint Méard de Gurçon. Since that time, generations have succeeded one another and developed the current heritage. Here in Périgord Pourpre, the Barde family farms, vinifies and markets the production of a 70-hectare vineyard, divided up as follows: - 30 ha of white grape varieties: Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. - 40 ha of red grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. With vine densities ranging from 5,000 to 6,500 vines per hectare, the vines planted on hillside and plateau terroirs produce quality grapes.
