Le Château Escot est une propriété historique du Médoc dont les origines remontent au XIVe siècle, lorsque la famille Scot s’est installée à Saint-Trélody. Aujourd’hui, le domaine entre dans une nouvelle phase de développement, alliant héritage et vision résolument tournée vers l’avenir.

En 2019, le Château Escot a été repris par deux passionnés de vin tchèques, qui ont immédiatement engagé une ambitieuse restructuration du vignoble. Une partie des replantations a notamment été réalisée sur des terroirs de grande qualité à Saint-Christoly, reconnus pour produire des vins structurés et élégants.

Parallèlement, la gamme a été élargie afin de gagner en polyvalence. Nous proposons aussi Forêt Escot (notre second vin), Les Sorbiers Escot Rosé, ainsi que le Château Escot Blanc, permettant de répondre à une diversité d’attentes, de la gastronomie à des styles plus accessibles et contemporains.

Le domaine fait également l’objet d’investissements majeurs. Le château est actuellement en rénovation afin de développer un projet d’accueil haut de gamme, pensé pour recevoir une clientèle internationale dans un cadre à la fois raffiné, chaleureux et authentique. En parallèle, de nouveaux bâtiments techniques ont été construits, offrant des conditions optimales pour produire des vins avec précision, constance et exigence de qualité.

Notre ambition est aujourd’hui de développer des partenariats solides et durables à travers l’Asie. Nous recherchons des importateurs engagés avec lesquels travailler en étroite collaboration, en apportant accompagnement, réactivité et cohérence de positionnement. Château Escot is a historic Médoc estate whose origins date back to the 14th century, when the Scot family settled in Saint-Trélody. Today, the estate is entering a new phase of development, combining heritage with a clear, forward-looking vision.

In 2019, Château Escot was acquired by two Czech wine enthusiasts, who immediately launched an ambitious restructuring of the vineyard. Part of the replanting has been carried out on high-quality terroirs in Saint-Christoly, known for producing structured and elegant wines.

At the same time, the range has been expanded to offer greater versatility. Alongside Château Escot, we also produce Forêt Escot (our second wine), Les Sorbiers Escot Rosé, and Château Escot Blanc, allowing us to meet a wide range of expectations, from gastronomy to more accessible and contemporary styles.

The estate is also undergoing significant investments. The château is currently being renovated to develop a high-end hospitality project, designed to welcome an international clientele in an environment that is both refined, warm, and authentic. In parallel, new technical buildings have been constructed, providing optimal conditions to produce wines with precision, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality.
