Chateau Vignelaure, property of 280 ha of land and 55 ha of vineyards, located on the north face of Saint Victoire mountain, shows a fresh climate with large diffrences of temperatures betwen days and nights. Between 350 and 450 m above sea level, terroir shows limestones and clay, in appelation Coteaux d Aix en Provence, permit to produce organic , elegant and balanced wines. Chateau Vignelaure created in the 70 ies by Georges Brunet, former owner of Chateau La Lagune in Medoc, is specialed in production of rich and powerfull red wines, with very long potential of aging, blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It produces also supern rosé and white wines.
