Family-Owned Organic Estate in Côtes de Provence producing Terroir Wines: Red, White, and of Course, Rosé
Nestled on 30 hectares of vineyards amidst 120 hectares of untouched nature, Château Mentone is a family-run estate dedicated to crafting wines that honor the land.

The first records of the estate date back to 1033, during its transfer to the clergy. The current vineyard plots were planted in 1850. Our historic estate was revitalized in late 2003 by our mother, Marie-Pierre Caille, who undertook the restoration of the vineyards, production facilities, and all the estate’s buildings.
In 2018, we, her two sons Nicolas and Martin, joined her to assist and accelerate the growth of our beautiful estate. In 2022, Marie-Pierre retired, passing the reins of Château Mentone on to us.
Château Mentone’s 30 hectares of vineyards enjoy a terroir and climate exceptionally conducive to late grape ripening. This results in whites and rosés with finesse and elegance, and reds with power and balance. Situated at an altitude of 150 to 250 meters, the soil is clay-limestone with varying orientations across the parcels.
The estate cultivates seven different grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle, and Clairette. All viticulture and winemaking practices adhere to the organic standards certified by the ECOCERT label.
Today, production is naturally limited to average yields of 35 hectoliters per hectare, ensuring the highest quality wines.
