The family acquired the château in the late 80's. Nowadays the vineyard represents more than one hundred hectares of vines divided half and half between AOP and IGP. If the history of the estate dates back to Roman times, the current shape of the castle, remarkable for its "Petit Carcassonne" architecture, was carried out in 1824, on the plans of the architect Louis Garros. The vineyard is managed under the HVE standard and gets a special vinification site dedicated to wines produced under the organic label. Wines are distributed in France and are developing internationally, mainly through restaurant and wine merchant networks, over a wide price range from market entry points to iconic wines, covering IGP Oc, Appellation d'Origine Protégée Faugères and some neighbours appellations.
