Implanted for nearly 70 years on the terroir of the Côte des Bar, our House bears the name of one of its illustrious founders: Charles Collin.
The vineyard, worked with great care by our member winemakers, is mainly planted with Pinot Noir, the emblematic grape variety of this terroir.
Blended with Chardonnay, we draw various expressions with particular attention to ageing.
Located in the heart of the Côte des Bar vineyards in Champagne, in Bar-sur-Seine, Champagne Devaux has embodied the spirit of this unique terroir since 1846. Established in an elegant 18th-century manor house, the House has become a reference of the Côte des Bar, renowned for Champagnes of distinctive style and exceptional ageing.
Each cuvée reflects the richness of this southern Champagne terroir, combining depth of character with remarkable elegance and balance. Designed for both pleasure and gastronomy, the flagship wines include Collection D (aged a minimum of five years), Coeur des Bar range to focus on grape variety and specialityt (Blanc de Noirs, Blanc de Blancs, Rosé, and organic), and Sténopé, created in partnership with Michel Chapoutier.
The range is complemented by still wines from the region, including parcel-selected white and red Coteaux Champenois as well as the exclusice Rosé des Riceys.
A guarantee of authenticity, craftsmanship and long ageing, Champagne Devaux today stands as one of the emblematic houses of the Côte des Bar. Its wines are equally suited to refined gastronomy or to moments of simple shared pleasure.
In 1899, Louis-Eugène Pannier began the story of Champagne PANNIER in Dizy, just outside Epernay.. With time and excellent workmanship, the brand earned its reputation and began a new chapter of its history full of promise, moving to Château-Thierry , in the Marne Valley vineyards, in 1937. The House benefits from magnificent medieval stone quarries, which constitute the cellars, a real setting for the aging of our cuvées. These cellars, dug from the 12th century, were used to build the city of Château-Thierry. In 1974, an Union of Growers, COVAMA, takes the activity over and the Champagne PANNIER brand becomes its flagship. Then, the key-word of the development is quality.
