Philippe and Vincent Garnier represents the fourth/fifth generation of the Garnier family, whose estate has been established in Auxey-Duresses, in the heart of Burgundy, since 1850. For more than 170 years, the family has been dedicated to cultivating vineyards and producing wines that reflect the unique character and diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs.
Having grown up surrounded by vineyards and the traditions of Burgundian winemaking, Vincent officially joined the family estate in 2018 alongside his father, Philippe Garnier. Together, they continue the family’s commitment to precision viticulture and terroir-driven wines while gradually modernizing the winery. Remaining a family-owned domaine, the estate produces wines in limited quantities from carefully selected parcels across Burgundy. Each vineyard expresses its own identity, and the philosophy of the Garnier family is to preserve and reveal the natural character of these terroirs in every bottle.
While the wines have historically been distributed mainly within France and Europe, the estate has recently begun expanding its presence in selected international markets, particularly in Asia, where Burgundy wines continue to be highly appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts.
Today, Vincent Garnier continues the family’s long-standing tradition, combining heritage, precision, and a deep respect for Burgundy’s terroirs to produce wines that express both place and lineage.
