Champagne Alfred Tritant is a familial domain with a human size, created in 1930 by Alfred Tritant. Jean-Luc Weber-Tritant, his grand-son, runs the estate situated in Bouzy. Vineyard of 2.71 hectares (=6.7 acres), made up of 18 plots, average age of the vines: 45 years old. Only from « Grand Cru » classified terroirs. South slope of the « Montagne de Reims »: Bouzy and Ambonnay Pinot Noir (2/3) and Chardonnay (1/3). Production: 23000 bottles/year. A demand of optimal maturity: grape berry tasting to define the harvest date, selection of the best grapes. The property commitments: « Vigneron Indépendant » estate, Récoltant Manipulant (RM) since its creation, vines certified organic since April 2023. Eco-grazing with their Ushant sheep. Production of 6 « Grand Cru » Champagnes: 4 champagnes blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay: Mes Racines brut, Mon Essentiel extra-brut, Mon Rosé brut, Millésime 2018 brut ; and 2 single-varietal champagnes: Plein Cadre brut (Pinot Noir), L’Instant Blanc extra-brut (Chardonnay).
