Domaine Augustin Parcé was founded in 2015.
After gaining experience elsewhere, Augustin and Vincent Parcé came back to Banyuls to revive the family vineyards passed down by their father, Marc Parcé, and to write their own chapter of the story. The estate is rooted in the Collioure/Banyuls appellation, where their origins lie, across nearly 15 hectares of steep terraced vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Collioure and Banyuls naturally form the backbone of the range, while the estate also allows itself to explore different expressions through the IGP Côte Vermeille, with freer, more creative cuvées such as a blanc de noirs or a clairet-style red.
Without denying its heritage, the new generation brings a thoughtful approach built on subtle adjustments, carefully measured experimentation, and a constant focus on drinkability. These are sincere, precise wines, made first and foremost to be shared, where every cuvée, whatever its style, reflects the same level of care and commitment.
If there is a vineyard apart in a world where everything ends up looking the same, it is that of Banyuls and Collioure.
Here, in these vineyards in terraces overhanging the sea, we work and harvest without any possible mechanization. Our first concern is to give birth to a wine that is a witness of its land, of its strength, of its gentleness too. A wine that is a witness of these stories of men and women who work together in an adventure always renewed for this symbol of life and sharing.
The estate of Domaine de la Rectorie is composed of thirty hectares of vineyards, with vines that are more than fifty years old in average.
The main grape variety is grenache, together with carignan, syrah and mourvèdre. Brown schists soils are the dominant type.
From the diversity of plots, with different altitudes and orientations, we are able to elaborate a range of wines going from the dry Collioure -white, rosé and red- to the fortified sweet Banyuls, proposed here in their two different approaches: the Rimage, aged in full tanks or barrels -protected from the air-, and the traditional oxidative Banyuls.
The first vintage of La Rectorie was 1984.
The winery is managed by Thierry Parc and his son Jean-Emmanuel.
