Cavedini offers a different vision of Valpolicella: authentic, organic, and deeply rooted in the Marcellise Valley, just outside Verona. For decades, the family has cultivated nine hectares with a “less is more” philosophy: respect for the land, craftsmanship, and wines that express a true sense of place.
Marco Cavedini personally manages every vineyard intervention and every step of the winemaking process. With organic farming, the Simonit & Sirch pruning method, and minimal intervention, he preserves biodiversity and maintains balanced, long-living vines. Production is intentionally limited to what the soils can naturally sustain.
The estate works exclusively with native Veronese varieties, crafting a focused range of wines that highlight purity and elegance: the fresh and mineral Valpolicella DOC; the textured and refined Valpolicella Superiore; the richer, layered Ripasso; the powerful yet balanced Amarone; and the velvety, complex Recioto.
More than a winery, Cavedini is a story of passion, heritage, and dedication to nature. Every bottle reflects the spirit of Marcellise and the family’s commitment to producing wines that carry both authenticity and individuality. At Cavedini, Valpolicella is not what you expect, it’s something more.
