Our captivating journey unfurls in 1928 when Giovanni Cavazza, acquired the charming "Bocara" vineyard and a house in the heart of Montebello Vicentino. Today, the reins of our winery are firmly grasped by the young fourth generation of the Cavazza family— the dynamic quartet of cousins, namely Andrea, Elisa, Stefano, and Mattia. Sprawling across 143 hectares, our estate graces the appellations of DOC Gambellara and DOC Colli Berici, where we make our exceptional wines. Our vineyards boast an eclectic mix of indigenous grapes like the fruity Garganega, the bubbly Durella, and the enchanting Tai Rosso, as well as international stars such as the suave Pinot Grigio, the bold Cabernet, and the velvety Merlot. From the very first pluck of the grape to the final twist of the cork, every step of the winemaking process unfolds right here on our land. In 2010, we installed solar panels on our rooftop. These panels don't just add a touch of eco-chic to our winery; they make us completely self-sufficient. From powering our refrigeration system to fueling the presses and bottling plant, the sun has us covered. But the story doesn't stop there! In 2019, we kicked sustainability up a notch by securing the SQNPI certification (National Quality System of Integrated Production).
