Co-exhibitor of Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico
Castello di Monsanto is one of the most representative wineries in the Chianti Classico wine region.
Since 1962, the Bianchi family is dedicated with great passion to the cultivation of Sangiovese in the area of San Donato in Poggio , being able to enhance the elegance and longevity of this grape.
The estate is composed by 210 hectares of land, of which 72 are covered with vineyards, 15 with olive groves and the rest with wood.
The original cellar dated back to 1740, located underneath the castle and linked to the modern cellar by a spectacular underground gallery, keeps the historical archive of all Chianti Classico Riserva vintages produced at Castello di Monsanto since 1962.
