CasalFarneto is a family owned, independent wine producer.
With its 43 hectares of vineyard, CasalFarneto combines technology, tradition and sustainability to produce wines of excellence, with particular attention to organic wine.
The main focus of the winery is the Verdicchio, the most awarded white grape of Italy, producing 13 different wines from it (from organic, to champenois, riserva, botrytis, passito, orange, Pet-Nat etc.). But the production also counts on the main varietals of Marche region, including Lacrima, Montepulciano and Pecorino.
Starting from year 2021 a new path has begun thanks to the consultancy of the world-renowned winemaker Stefano Chioccioli, who is also a specialist in vineyard’s organic management.
In 2023 we achieved the Equalitas Sustainability Certification.

Elegance, time, purity.
Scarpa celebrates the varietal abundance of Piedmont through wines that are naturally inclined towards longevity.
We carry out distinct, slow and expressive vinification processes, without forcing anything.
Our single vineyard labels are made in purity, exclusively from native Piedmontese grapes, in pursuit of the genuine bond with the territory and loyalty to our history.
Scarpa believes in the classic expressiveness of Piedmont wines, in their natural ability to evolve and age, proving that only time – and constant care – can unveil the noblest essence of our land.
We are a fourth generation family growers, and today the sisters Annamaria & Clara Sala are running the Winery. At the beginning of 1900 their grangrandmother - Signora Dora - was captivated by the wonderful atmosphere of this part of Sicily in Mazara del Vallo (the western shore of Sicily island) and she purchased 130 hectares of land in this little piece of paradise.
Afterwards in the year 2000, Mr Michele and Doretta (respectively the father and mother of Annamaria and Clara sisters), established a brand new Winery within the estate.
Nature and respect for the ecosystem is the most important philosophy: in fact we are the SOLE Winery in Sicily whose all property belongs to one of the most important sicilian WWF Protected Nature Reserve: "Lake Preola & Gorghi Tondi lakes" in Mazara del Vallo.
We also are the benchmark producer in Sicily about "Grillo" variety, (in fact the west part of Sicily is the most vocated zone for Grillo grape), but we also grow Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Catarratto, Frappato and Nerello Mascalese.
All the production is Organic certified, we follow the sustainable growing and the green attitude is a "must" for us.
