Cantine Pirovano was founded over a century ago, it has developed over time thanks to the passion that has been passed down from generation to generation, from father to son until the present day. The strength of the Cantine Pirovano finds its essential root in the unity of the family, whose members work together to achieve the same goal: to produce wines with great care and attention to the quality. The philosophy of Cantine Pirovano is to offer to its customers a wide choice of wines from the best areas of Italy. The main will is to guarantee to the consumers that each wine maintains the qualities from its territorial origin. All of this it is translated into an extremely long, scrupulous and tenacious work. For these reasons, the Cantine Pirovano are proud to offer these characteristic wines with personality, in which are found great sensations, with a unique charm. The headquarters is located in the province of Lecco, covering an area of 50,000 square meters, 20,000 of which are covered by the factory. The winery has a capacity of 6 million liters bulk, contained entirely in stainless steel tanks. The wine is stored in tanks, cold stabilized, in absolute respect of the quality of the product. Then it is carefully controlled in its early stage of aging until the time of bottling. Before the stage of bottling, there is a sterile filtration which ensures a stable product from the biological point of view, which preserves the aromas and natural characteristics of the wine. The bottling process makes use of advanced machinery that allow to preserve the wine from oxygenation or accidental pollution, as well as specialized staff, who is keen and scrupulous in checking and in the verifying each stage of processing, in order to ensure to the customer the maintenance of the original quality. The Pirovano’s family is also the owner of a farm called “Terre Bentivoglio”, located in the Oltrepò Pavese, covering an area of 90 hectares, where they produce high quality wines.
