MADEIRA VINTNERS, an exclusively female team, handles all stages of wine production and marketing. CAF, established in 1951, initially focused on wholesale agricultural trade. CAF, started producing the first Madeira Wine in 2012. By 2013, we had our own facilities and created the MADEIRA VINTNERS brand. Our first wine, launched in 2016, won several awards and continued to receive numerous accolades for our wines in 2017 and 2018, including the release of our first single variety Malvasia. In 2021, we introduced our first Boal 5-year-old and Tinta Negra 2012 wines, which were also awarded. In 2024, we launched our first Malvasia 10-year-old wine on Madeira Day.
