🇬🇧 BORIE-MANOUX was founded in 1870 as a merchand by Pierre Borie in Pauillac. At the time, the offices and cellars were located in Rue Pierre Castéja in Pauillac and the family lived at Château Batailley. Eugène Borie, who ran the company after Pierre Borie, was the second generation of this family business, where tradition plays an important role to this day. To this day, the Castéja family remains wholly owned by BORIE-MANOUX and has acquired many other châteaux in Bordeaux from Château Batailley, the original Borie family château. Today, Borie-Manoux is one of the most important French groups of winegrowers and wine merchants, with a strong position on the national market and exporting to about 90 countries worldwide. 🇫🇷 La société BORIE-MANOUX a été fondée en 1870 par Pierre Borie à Pauillac en tant que négociant. A l'époque, les bureaux et les caves étaient situés rue Pierre Castéja à Pauillac et la famille vivait au Château Batailley. Eugène Borie, qui dirigea l'entreprise après Pierre Borie, était la deuxième génération de cette entreprise familiale, où la tradition joue un rôle important jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
