BODEGAS SOLANA DE RAMÍREZ is a family winery based in Ábalos (Rioja Alta), that belongs to the DOCa Rioja. We are dedicated for several generations to the cultivation of vines and the production and ageing of its wines. 

At Solana de Ramírez Winery, we know that a good wine is born from the careful care of the vineyards. We cultivate 60 hectares of our own vineyards in Ábalos and San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Rioja Alta), located from north to south from the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria to the vicinity of the Ebro river.

Our winery has an annual production of  500 thousand kilos of grapes (80% tempranillo and the 20 % of graciano, garnacha, viura, sauvignon-blanc, Malvasia, Verdejo and other varieties); 

The lands are clay - calcareus, influencing for the currents of Cantabrian and Mediterranean air, they make that this zone is very capable in orther to produce wines of excellent  quality. 

For aging wines we have and independent cellar in the underground with 500 barrels of American, French and Navarro Oak.
