BAUDRY & DUTOUR is the story of a meeting, a friendship that dates back to 1993 between two winemakers from CHINON who decided to join their forces. Thirty years later, Christophe BAUDRY and Jean-Martin DUTOUR are a committed duo who has established BAUDRY & DUTOUR as a key player in the LOIRE VALLEY. Between CHINON, BOURGUEIL and TOURAINE appellations, our vines are cultivated according to the principles of conservation viticulture and converted step by step to organic certification. Our approach, free of any dogmatism, is based on the fundamentals of agronomy and places the life of the soil at the heart of the attention. It favours biology over any other form of intervention and aims, beyond the best quality production, to protect the terroir and the environment today for tomorrow. Ancestral gestures and modernity are combined to reveal the diversity of our terroirs and remain true to the identity of each of our properties.
