Historically well established in the cider market (with brands such as Loïc Raison and Ecusson (www.groupe-eclor.com/en/ecusson)), Eclor has diversified its portfolio and committed to revitalizing the image of cider in France. The product range has been redesigned, with all products reimagined by the cider houses’ cellar masters while preserving traditional cider-making expertise. The division is also active in the beer and soft drinks markets in France, and since 2012, in the U.S. market, offering compotes, vinegars, and juices under the North Coast brand (www.groupe-eclor.com/en/north-coast).
In 2017, Eclor launched France’s first Hard Cider, La Mordue, to bring cider into bars and brasseries.
In 2018, the Apples & Beverages division expanded into the Anglo-Saxon market, the world’s largest cider market, through the acquisition of Aston Manor (www.groupe-eclor.com/en/english-style-ciders), the leading independent cider maker in the United Kingdom (holding 26% of the UK market) and the second-largest player in the Anglo-Saxon cider market (representing 47% of global cider sales).
In 2020, the cooperative acquired Phare Ouest, a company built on two pillars: beer, with Brasserie Lancelot (brands include Lancelot, Duchesse Anne, Blanche Hermine), and soft drinks, with Breizh Cola.

CIDRE SEHEDIC ; www.cidre-sehedic.fr
Pamela DARONDEAU ; + 33 6 59 83 08 05 ; contact@cidre-sehedic.fr
Since the 1950s, Cidre Séhédic has been producing award winning, organic ciders from a family orchard in La Forêt-Fousenant in Southern Brittany. Spread over a generous 20 acres, the apples are protected from the harsh prevailing winds of the Atlantic. 35 apple varieties are grown on over 9000 individual trees, a diversity necessary for producing authentic and distinctive ciders in a range of styles.
Since 2023, the orchard is in the capable, loving hands of Hervé and Pamela Darondeau who have carried on Cidre Séhédic’s tireless work in the orchard and the cidery, upholding the highest standards and crafting both classic and modern ciders. 8 different blends are presented by Cidre Séhédic, allowing fine and original food pairings. All ciders are organic, 100% pure juice, unpasteurized, fermented slowly and naturally sparkling.
The process is not rushed, and fermentation occurs slowly, in the chilled cellar, allowing for a complex array of subtle aromas to find their way into the finished bottles. After a few weeks or months of fermentation (depending on the cuvée being produced), juice is transferred to a tank where natural carbonation takes place, and velvety bubbles are trapped. Ciders are filtered before bottling, and remain unpasteurised.

CHOUETTE ; www.lecoqtoque.com
It is a story of people, apple trees, and cidres. Our range of cidres unfolds like a stroll through the seasons at the heart of our Norman orchard. There, in the midst of the Normandy bocage, we cultivate our apples and pears with care and respect for nature. All our cidres are 100% pure juice, organic, and are craft cidres.”
