Wine Paris 2026, the event where our environmentally-friendly initiatives become embedded
Building on the 2024 & 2025 exhibitions, which were the first in terms of introducing environmentally-friendly measures, we aim for our solutions to become even more relevant and to involve all stakeholders on our journey towards becoming carbon neutral by 2026.
Together, let's take action in saving energy!
We care about hosting an exhibition whose environmental impact is kept to the absolute minimum. This goal has to be supported collectively which is why we inform visitors and exhibitors about a host of environmentally-friendly choices they can make before, during and after the exhibition.
Applying the recommendations of UNIMEV, Vinexposium is setting up the following emergency measures.
Collecting and recycling empty bottles
We collect bottles to promote the circular economy
Empty bottles are collected by our partners so that they are no longer automatically recycled but rather sorted, cleaned and re-used in the future.

Recycling corks
We collect corks to promote the circular economy
With the help of our partner, we collect as many corks and synthetic closures as possible so that they can be recycled and re-used. The proceeds are donated to the Agir Cancer association.

Transforming alcoholic liquids
We collect unconsumed alcoholic liquids so that they can be turned into energy
The liquids are continually collected and subsequently distilled by our partner so that they can be made into bio-ethanol, an environmentally-friendly fuel.

Collecting materials
We collect materials from stands and other single-use fixtures and donate them to associations
We encourage exhibitors to use fewer materials that are not essential for creating their stands. Our partner collects the materials produced so that they can be recycled and re-distributed to recipients of the circular and community-based economy.

Investigating in re-usable fixtures and materials
We re-use our designs from one year to the next and provide exhibitors with sustainable material solutions
We store and re-use organiser designs and turnkey stands made from recycled and multiple-use materials:
Investment in 200,000 wine glasses for exhibitors, with a washing service.

Raising awareness among exhibitors and visitors to minimise the exhibition’s environmental impact
We care about hosting an exhibition whose environmental impact is kept to the absolute minimum.
This goal has to be supported collectively which is why we inform visitors and exhibitors about a host of environmentally-friendly choices they can make before, during and after the exhibition.
Going the extra mile
We measure the exhibition’s carbon footprintso that we can identify new, and increasingly relevant actions
We bring our staff and all our partners on board so that we can be increasingly planet-friendly. The amount of carpet we fit is constantly being reduced, we no longer print badges systematically, we minimise waste and are working on certification of the V d’Or business awards.
We promote a positive social impact
In addition to the initiatives aimed at reaching carbon neutrality by 2050, we also foster diversity and inclusiveness through our partnership with the Laurent Bodin and L’un est L’autre supported employment workplaces.
